Privacy Policy
We ask for the email and password you use to sign in. We use a search only to look up the public Massachusetts Trial Court portal, and we do not keep the search or the results.
What you give us to sign in
To create an account you provide an email address and a password. That is the personal information we ask for. The password is stored by our sign-in provider in a form we cannot read back. We use the email to sign you in and to send account messages, including the link that confirms the account.
If you add a phone number so we can text a sign-in code, we use that number only to send the code.
Searches
The name, case number, ticket number, or case type you type is sent to the public portal at masscourts.org so that one search can run. We do not cache searches. We do not cache search results.
We do keep a count of how many searches the account has used, so the free searches and any searches you paid for can be applied. That count does not include the name, number, or case type you searched.
An unfinished search can remain in this browser until you finish it or leave it. That copy stays on your device.
A case file you download is held only so you can open it, for up to two days, and then it is deleted. It is not added to a library of results.
If you pay or write to us
If you buy searches, you enter the card with our payment processor. We do not store the card number. We keep a record that the account paid, and the amount, so the searches can be credited.
A notify address in Settings, and anything you send through Feedback, is used only for the message you asked us to send or to answer you. Both are optional.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not build a marketing profile.
Massachusetts residents
Account information is used to run this service, and access to it is limited to that purpose. If personal information is acquired without authorization in a way Massachusetts General Laws chapter 93H requires us to disclose, we will give that notice.
Accounts for adults
This site is for adults. Do not create an account if you are under 18.
